Narayan Seva Sansthan, headquartered in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India, is a premier non-profit dedicated to the rehabilitation and holistic upliftment of persons with disabilities. Founded in 1985 by Padma Shri Kailash Agarwal ‘Manav’, it has grown to over 480 branches in India and 49 abroad . The Sansthan operates a 1,100-bed hospital offering free corrective surgeries (over 4.4 lakh performed), prosthetic limb camps, and physiotherapy all free of cost to underserved communities, including polio-affected individuals.
Their community-driven model extends beyond medical care to economic and social empowerment: they distribute artificial limbs, calipers, wheelchairs, and tricycles daily; run vocational training programs (sewing, mobile repair, etc.); host mass weddings and talent events; and provide education, residential care, and skill development all free and aimed at fostering inclusion and independence.
